Cancellation and Returns Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, you must return to us any goods that have already been supplied to you in its original packaging, undamaged and unopened. If you believe the goods to be faulty, incorrect or damaged upon delivery, we will cover the cost of return (provided that the means of return is agreed by us) and we will replace or exchange any such goods or we will refund you what you have paid, including carriage cost. Please keep proof of postage when returning goods.
If you decide that you wish to cancel prior to receiving the goods you must notify us immediately and we will endeavour to prevent the dispatch. If we are unable to do this you will then have to return them to us. We will only refund for goods that have been returned to us within one month of the purchase date. Our policy does not affect your statutory rights. Please accompany any returns with a brief covering letter and a copy of the receipt.
Inspection of Goods
- Upon delivery of the goods you should carefully inspect them as we will not be held responsible for damage or defects caused by you after you have received them. If any of the goods are lost or damaged, please contact us immediately using the e-mail address or the telephone number on our website and do not use the goods.
- Each of the goods delivered to you will contain a delivery note clearly stating the contents of the package and you should check that these match the prescription goods ordered. If the prescription stated does not match the prescription ordered, please contact us to inform us of the problem and do not use the goods.
- You will be liable for any loss or damage to the goods from the time of delivery unless such loss or damage is caused by our negligence.
Product Availability
If any of the goods you order are not available for whatever reason, we will attempt to inform you of this by email or telephone, and if you wish we will cancel your order and refund you anything that you have paid to us.
Refunds
Refunds will be made by re-crediting the payment card account from which the money was originally debited, or if you paid by cheque, by crediting the local branch of your Bank with the equivalent amount. All refunds will be made within 28 days of the cancellation of your order or within 28 days upon receipt of goods in their original state, (subject to your compliance with the terms and conditions relating to Cancellations and Return).
Exchange
If your contact lens prescription changes, goods will only be considered for exchange if you supply us with the new valid contact lens prescription in accordance with Contact Lens Prescription Requirements Terms & Conditions. Contact lenses may be returned for exchange provided that 15 months shelf life remains and they are unopened, undamaged and in the original packaging. We do not exchange other products unless they are faulty as per our Cancellation and Returns Policy. You will be responsible for the cost of returning all goods for exchange. For the replacement optics2u will charge the standard postage and packaging fee.
